History

Teak Solutions originated in San Diego, CA, USA. In the early nineties, Michael Kimble started Yacht Decking Services, which became a leading sales representative for one of the world’s largest teak decking manufacturers. As the company grew, Michael was invited to Europe to supervise the teak deck installation on the new build Rising Sun at Lürssen Ship Yard in Bremen, Germany.

During the years that followed, the portfolio was extended from interior/ exterior yacht decks to residential/ commercial teak outfitting as well as the manufacturer of exclusive teak furniture. Eventually, Teak Solutions Bahamas was formed with projects following in Mexico, Chile, Spain, India and Germany.  Today, the company operates worldwide with facilities in Germany, India, and the United States.
